Week Update

This week the grade 11 dorm really started to feel the heat of academic pressure. The boys were told at the beginning of the year that this year would be the most academically challenging year of our Bishops careers. Up to now, we’ve had it pretty easy. Some of us even started to believe that the year would be a breeze. How wrong we were...

With history essays, biology articles, chemistry test on ‘valance-shell-electron-pair-share-repulsion-theory’, pointless accounting tasks, Afrikaans, French and economic tests, I’m surprised we’ve all made it out alive!

On an individual level, we congratulate James Drummond and Jack Nebe for making the SA u19 Field Hockey side and South African u18 Ice-Hockey teams respectively. Watch this space next week for a detailed post on their achievements.

Jean Truter and our resident Russian (Egor Arkhipov) recently took part in a few Soccer Trials at Meadowridge FC. We look forward to hearing about the outcomes of their efforts in the near future. Egor has his sights set for playing for Russia one day – let’s hope he makes Meadowridge FC first.
